Are you able to donate your time for one evening to help ensure that Equality is a reality for all Kansans? Join EQKS Metro KC for a monthly Community Update to learn more about how you can make a difference!

EQKS Metro KC Community Updates are regularly scheduled at community venues throughout the metro on the first Tuesday or Wednesday of each month (on rotation). Meet other supporters and community allies while you stay informed on local and statewide LGBT Equality news and initiatives.

The Community Updates aren`t the only ways to keep connected and take action in our community. Following most discussions, all current EQKS Members are invited to stay for regularly scheduled Board of Directors Meetings and learn even more about how Equality Kansas is currently fighting discrimination in your neighborhood!

Equality Kansas (formerly Kansas Equality Coalition) is the only statewide legislative advocacy organization in Kansas determined to end discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity. The Metro KC Chapter serves the counties of Johnson, Wyandotte, Leavenworth, Miami, Atchison, Doniphan, and Brown. Membership is open to all residents of those counties, as well as to those in greater Kansas City Missouri.
