In Kansas, it is legal to fire someone for being gay. It’s legal to evict someone for being lesbian. It’s legal to refuse to serve someone who is transgender.
We have made progress in a number of cities in passing discrimination protections for LGBTQ Kansans, but it’s not enough. We must fight to secure these rights statewide.
Join us at the Kansas Statehouse for a day of rallies, action, and legislative visits.
For years, the Kansas legislature has been promising us action on discrimination protection, and for years those promises have not been kept. It’s time to hold them to their word.
