Criqui for Lawrence City Commission

Dear Friends,

Over the course of the last six months, I have been planning a campaign for the Lawrence City Commission. With the election less than a month away, I wanted to reach out to you for your support.

As you likely know, I currently serve as the vice chair of the KEC’s Lawrence/Douglas County chapter. In that capacity and as a member of the Kansas Equality Coalition I have worked diligently to end discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity.

Some of my accomplishments include:

• Successfully lobbying Douglas County to provide domestic partner benefits;

• Leading winning effort in Lawrence to add “gender identity” to the city’s existing human rights ordinance;

• And working on campaign to provide gender-neutral bathrooms at the University of Kansas.

If elected to the Lawrence City Commission, I would be the only openly gay person serving in the state of Kansas and of course, I would continue to seek the dignity, safety, and legal equality of all Kansans!

Please help me in this fight by making a contribution today! A contribution of $25, $100, or $500 will help me get my message out to voters!
